I love it! Such intensity. The bottle is only just opened and the juice already offers an incredible aromatic palette, a very evolving complexity, a big concentration. I also notice a nice freshness, like pine sap. And it's not too much!

#6219 10.01.2026 Got back home from a nice movie night with my friends and just had to run a few samples. Nose Fresh, faint wood, fruits, banana, light plum, faint medicinal, spice, faint grass. Palate Oily, fresh, round, faint wood, faint roasted, citrus, spice, light medicinal, light peppery. Finish Medium to long, light wood, light citrus, dried fruit, light peppery. Empty glass Banana, light prunes, light caramel, light vanilla.

Great nose, you can tell that very old rums were blended here. Lots of barrel and wood on the nose. Apricot and citrus fruits, as well as earthy notes or herbs. Also chocolate, so simply a lot of barrel influences. On the palate very bitter, smoky, woody and citrus. Strong dark, tart and bitter with a punch.

This Isautier is really strong. You can tell right away that it's an Agricole. On the nose and palate, it's definitely very oaky and also spicy. Slightly vegetal on the nose, with some pepper and leather as well.

Without water: Quite dry in taste. The finish is also quite dry and unfortunately short. With water more caramel on the nose and it opens up a bit: more citrus fruits and the bitterness decreases.

Beautiful Isautier Agricole. Very elegant and smooth. Intense vegetal notes, as well as lots of citrus fruits and a bit of honey and banana. The alcohol is perfectly integrated. The finish is pleasantly medium length. Pleasantly dry.

It needs to breathe for a while, at first the alcohol stings. Lacquer, polish, noble banana bread, dried fruits, spices, leather, wood. Very complex, damn good on the nose. Sharp and alcoholic in the mouth. Strict spice - pepper and licorice. Exciting finish, develops in waves. Very bitter. Really great nose, finer and more elegant than the Velier bottlings. Unfortunately, the enjoyment is missing in the mouth.

Exotic fruits, typical polished wood that characterizes La Réunion well (at least in these great juices), leather... and vegetal notes on the palate. The finish returns to fruits, and a good dose of chocolate. The only downside for me is a bit too alcoholic.
