This Extra Vieux 2012 is very similar to the Liberation from the same year! Crazy balance throughout the tasting and what I really like, which I found in both, is the creamy and buttery part that lingers in your mouth!

You can recognize the Rhum Rhum profile right away. Nice fruitiness (dried apricot, peach) paired with wood and spice. Alongside that, there's gunpowder and floral hints. The alcohol is definitely noticeable. Nice and full in the mouth. Similar aroma profile. Beautifully spicy long finish.
