Only 5 years old, naturally tropical, quite full-bodied and round. Very fitting alcohol content. Very expensive, but also very tasty. Nose: voluminous, elegant and oily-soft. Caramel-woody with lots of fruit. Dried apricot, black currants as well as gooseberry but also oak, banana, coconut, passion fruit and orange. Plus vanilla and a fine touch of pipe tobacco. Very nice. 8.5 Palate: has body, spicy-woody, malty-salty-bacon-like. Nutty-strong-sweet towards tonka bean. Dried date and dried fig, just not quite as sweet. A bit of lemon peel and fruit bread. Fragrant sandalwood. Very well balanced, very nice rum. 8.5

#6886 04.06.2026 Home early today because I started early at work today following one of our gardeners. Watching Spider-Noir on Amazon Prime. This is a really nice rum in my mind, but the price tag is way off. Medium intense profile with fruits, caramel, light grass and light roasted wood.
