Planteray Black Cask (Barbados & Trinidad) 2025
Chocolate and mint are what people remember here — an unusual pairing for a Barbados-Trinidad blend. Add roasted coconut, banana, a little coffee and light spice, and you've got an easy, mild pour at 40%. Most tasters call it fruity and gentle rather than deep. A couple find it too sweet and a touch flat; nobody calls it complicated.

New impression in the black cask range. This time blending rums from Barbados & Trinidad. The rum is fairly sweet, fruity with a fair dose of bitterness & spicy elements in the blend, a little bit of dark chocolate, coffee, ginger and cinnamon. Finish is surprisingly long with cinnamon and chocolate on the forefront.

Advent Calendar for my brother 2025. The nose is quite weak but I really like the taste, it has nice combination of fruits and chocolate with hints of mint. Nothing comolex, easy and straightforward. Also great price for what it brings.
