The Calvados cask hits first and hard — baked apple, cider, a whiff of orchard fruit — so much that it nearly buries the agricole underneath. Give it half an hour in the glass and the cane comes back: fresh sugarcane, a little butter, light oak, a touch of anise on the finish. Members call it gourmand and surprisingly polished for a four-year-old at 50%.

#7057 17.07.2026 A few late evening samples while streaming the main stage from Tomorrowland. Pretty good rum with a very nice price tag in my mind. Fruity rum with nice spices, light roasted wood, sugarcane , grass natural sweetness and some light tannins.

Au nez impressionnant le ex fut de calva a bien fait le taf !!! En bouche la canne est la !!! Avec un petit peu de pomme en fin de bouche et un peu de bois !!! Finale assez long ! Pas mal du tout

J ai voulu attendre une deuxième dégustation avant de donner mon avis. A la première, j avais trouvé le rhum un peu fermé et vraiment influencé par le fût de Calvados. 1 semaine plus tard quelle belle surprise! Il s est bien révélé. Le fût de calva reste majoritaire au nez, mais le côté Bielle agricole est moins en retrait. En bouche très accessible, entrée facile avec un beau fondu pomme/caramel au beurre/un peu d herbe sèche. Puis montée en puissance progressive des arômes autour du fût de Calva . J ai aussi une petite fraîcheur anisée/ réglisse. Bonne tenue en bouche. Très bon rapport qualité prix, accessible et complexe à la fois.

Une jolie découverte Au nez, le fût de Calvados prend un peu trop le dessus à mon goût. Il a tendance à masquer le côté agricole, ce qui, je trouve, arrive souvent avec ce type de finish En bouche, c’est tout de suite plus ma came ! Le rhum se révèle pleinement, surtout après un peu d’aération On retrouve une belle gourmandise, avec des notes de pomme au four caramélisée, une touche de beurre, un boisé subtil et une légère fraîcheur en finale. L’intégration des 50 % est très réussie : la puissance reste pleinement maîtrisée Un beau rhum qui gagne vraiment à s’aérer et à être redécouvert

Rum that needs about half an hour to express itself optimally. On the nose, a very pronounced smell of apple and calvados. On the palate, the sugarcane reveals itself, then apple and a cider-like side come back in the mouth. Very indulgent. I also sense a slight woodiness. Medium-long but very pleasant finish. I recommend it.

Nose immediately on calvados. About thirty minutes of airing is necessary and allows the rum to open up a bit more. On the palate still many notes of apples, calvados. The cask has well marked the juice. The integration of the alcohol is good. Notes of tart fruits, a slight woodiness, a bit of anise and caramel. The finish is moderately long. It's indulgent and very pleasant to drink. Perfect with a dessert.

J'écris ce post après une deuxième dégustation. Une belle première cuvée. Au nez le fût de Calvados est tout de suite présent. Presque trop présent la première fois mais juste ce qu'il faut désormais. Le rhum a donc besoin d'aération. En bouche la canne est bien présente, des notes de pomme, vanille, légèrement épicé, un petit côté boisé également. Très agréable et surprenant pour un rhum assez jeune. Une belle longueur en bouche. Belle réussite pour cette première cuvée !

Aération nécessaire pour exploiter le plein potentiel de ce beau jus ! Nez : Après une aération de 15 min ! L’ouverture s’exprime sur des notes franches de calvados et de fruits acidulés, apportant une légère fraicheur. Bouche : La première gorgée dévoile une belle intensité acidulés, présence des marqueurs calva le fut à très bien fait son boulot. Nous arrivons rapidement sur la canne fraîche . En seconde bouche, le boisé s’affirme davantage, apportant une belle structure. L’ensemble reste cohérent. Finale : Longue, persistante, évolutive. Les notes boisées/leger poivré et acidulées se fondent dans une douceur de canne fraîche, laissant une empreinte fraîche et aromatique qui persiste dans la durée.
