Un nez plutôt doux avec des herbes sèches et du fermenté végétal. Au second plan des fruits trop mûrs et du poivre. La première bouche est heurtée avec un alcool trop présent et des goûts qui ne s’accordent pas très bien. La finale est timide, un peu faible en goût et relativement courte. Un bien moins bon rhum que son frère aîné à 60,2%.

Thanks to Tobi for finding new Chairman’s bottlings. Personally, I didn't like it that much. I find it too sharp-edged and peppery, definitely better ones in my opinion. Like with Foursquare, always high quality though. Just didn't really taste good to me this time.

Here, compared to the 11-year-old sister bottling from Shelter, glue replaces the pastry notes on the nose. On the palate then sharper and pepperier. Overall both good and the favorite depends on form. The younger is more accessible, this one a bit more demanding.
