Pretty fun aroma of plum, some chocolate and a little caramel. Maybe cherry. Brandy, some oak. Pours dark mahogany with an orange tint. More plum in the mouth and a very sharp hit of oak. Brandy. The wood on some of these Renaissance rums really hits sharply for me. A little cough syrup on the finish. One of the nicer Renaissances that I've so far had. Sample thanks to Kojimon.
