Jeden z lepszych foursquare jakie piłem. Na pewno do powtórzenia w przyszłości.
Review by Sebastian Kornett
Typical Madeira notes in the finish which I find worlds better than the Real McCoy Limited Edition Madeira cask.
Review by Montana
A fruity and spicy aroma, slightly woody and sweet, some vanilla. Slight sweetness in the taste, slightly oily, very tasty. The finish is medium long, slightly burning but pleasant.
Review by Stefan Persson
It’s number eleven in the Foursquare EC Series. It consists of a blend from both Pot and Coffey stills distillate aged for twelve years in by ex-Bourbon and ex-Madeira casks before blended at ABV 48%. Overall an intense, complex, pleasant and any other superlatives that comes to your mind.

Beautiful foursquare I liked in nuance better than the mount gay Madeira cask I tried before.

Lapsang souchang (sp) on the nose and real good everywhere else.
Review by Kieron Wood
how do I even score one that isn't possibly a 10. This does not have the depth of the exceptional cask 2005 or 2007 brilliant rum though
Review by Jack M
Lower ABV makes it smoother compared to othe ECS releases. The Madeira flavours are obvious enough, particularly in the finish, while the rum mostly retains the classic Foursquare profile.

Sharper than 48% would suggest, lots of wood.

I enjoyed this ECS release very much. The lower ABV makes this very drinkable and enjoyable. This bottle was heavily shared with friends and colleagues on a BBQ party and they all liked it. Good memories!

Classic FS profile meets Madeira. Wine. Baking spices. Typical glue and solvents. Round. Good! But is FS not getting a bit boring? The marge of differences/variety between different FS bottles is quite small...
Review by Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰
Just like the other exceptional casks this one shines pretty well for me. The nose is fruity with vanilla and there are some solvents there and oak in the end. The palate lives up to the nose with a very fruity touch. Pepper is very obvious and nice followed by caramel and spices. There is also a nice and oaky touch. The finish is nice and has vanille, citrus and oak. Leave the glass for next day and dip your nose into it and you'll get rewarded with a wonderful complex nose.
Review by TheRhumhoe
A relatively light Foursquare. The nose is extremely round and pastry-like, with soft spices (vanilla, nutmeg, pepper), chocolate, cookie, coconut, dried fruit and red berries. A hint of glue enhances this nose of gourmet goodness, bordering on overdose. The palate is a little drier, but still with that typical Bajan style. Coconut, dried fruit, caramel, sweet spices, chocolate and subtle coffee notes are all present. The alcohol is well integrated, tamed mainly by the greediness of the profile. The finish is of good length, rather dry and fruity. Spice and oak add character to a sweet, opulent profile. A good Foursquare, (too) simple, (too) basic, even by distillery standards.

Un foursquare comme bcp d’autres. Les marqueurs habituels sont bien présent.
Review by Tafia Guildive
Verliert an Aroma nach Oxidation, der Madeira-Anteil entwickelt leider Fehlnoten. Die Flasche sollte man schnell leeren.
