Not a very objective opinion, as I had the chance to preview these vintages for La Famille Ricci alongside Morgan in Brussels. What, a new TDL 2003? Clearly a beautiful treat, with a base of red fruits and blackcurrant, good length, but also a certain sweetness. It's not a heavy hydrocarbon rum, nor is it a menthol bomb (I would have liked a hint of menthol, I admit). On the other hand, the apple notes on the finish are very nice. This is a rum that needs time to open up, so be patient!

#6607 03.04.2026 Finally back home from our trip up north, which went pretty well actually. A quick visit to Skotlander was also a nice touch because I could bottle a few myself. This is a great bottling and the price tag is also OK in my mind. The nose is fresh and fruity with light mint, berries, nutts, light chocolate and a light floral touch. The palate is oily and has berries, natual sweetness, light mint, light roasted wood, caramel and light floral notes. The finish is long and oily with light roasted wood, light mint, cherry and light chocolate.

🔥 TDL 2003 - 66,7 % A vintage I particularly enjoy, and this bottling only confirms why. Fruity, gourmet profile, marked by citrus, passion fruit, notes of fruit syrup, burnt sugar and a hint of menthol. Expressive, full-bodied on the palate, with a long finish. 👉 Clearly a success in this series.

SITS 2025 Looking for TDL in the nose. It's there but very little. Palate very soft. Not really convinced, overall too soft.
