#6958 24.06.2026 Had a hard 50 km test on the bike today and it went really well. Relaxing with some samples while watching "Moonshiners". Thank you for the samples Petter. Very nice rum with a good price tag. Medium intense rum with nice fruits, light salt, spice, roasted wood, some tannins and leather.

Somewhat subjective review, I had the chance to present these cuvées in preview for La Famille Ricci alongside Morgan in Brussels. THIS IS NOT A FOURSQUARE (and that did me good, it's less doughy and heavy). Hazelnut, vanilla, and quite a bit of coconut on the nose. Nice creamy texture, coconut, milk chocolate on the palate. Almond and caramel on the finish with beautiful toasted notes. Simple, effective, almost too easy to drink :)

🔥 WIRD 2009 – 63% Rum from Barbados, but be careful: not Foursquare, but WIRD (West Indies Rum Distillery). Creamy and indulgent profile, with honey, vanilla, woodiness, and a touch of pear. Pleasant and easy on the palate... perhaps too easy. It lacks a little power and complexity to really make an impression. 👉 This is the one in the series that I found least convincing.
