Very intense rum with a variety of dark aromas. Besides the expected notes like burnt wood, caramel, and spices, you also get coconut and subtle dried fruits. On top of that, you can clearly smell and taste something meaty/umami, which comes from the sherry cask and becomes more intense the longer you let it breathe. The flavor is super intense and definitely a matter of personal taste. I like it for a change since I usually tend to prefer fruity rums.
