Goûté à l'occasion du Whsiky Live Paris 2026. J'ai vraiment adoré ce profil d'élevé sous bois version mélasse. On y trouve le produit d'origine avec juste une touche de bois pour lui apporter le kick qu'il faut. A 25€ la bouteille, le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment top. J'ai adoré.

Tasted this quite good and young molasses rum from Guadeloupe at Rhum Fest Paris 2026. It’s a little pre matured before aged for 2 years in American oak barrels. The nose is elegant, complex, fresh, woody, sweet and fruity with scents of honey, brown sugar, vanilla, bergamot and pastry. At the palate the impressions from the nose still intact with added flavors of cocoa and spices and a certain warmth. The finish is medium long.

Dégustation au Rhum Fest 2026. 👃 Beaucoup de fruits pour un ESB, des fruits secs, quelques agrumes qui apportent de la fraîcheur mais aussi des fruits tropicaux (fruits de la passion en tête). Le boisé est jeune, pas agressif, légèrement mielleux, vanillé sur une douceur sucrée de mélasse. 😋 Une petite salade de fruits à moins de 25€, rien que ça. De nouveau les fruits secs, les agrumes doux, pointe d'acidité sur les fruits de la passion. Même profil qu'au nez, doux, confit, boisé jeunes, fraîcheur. ⛳ Plutôt courte, mais encore une fois pour le prix on ne peut pas lui en demander trop. Mélange de fruits, du confit, de la douceur vanillée qui redemande une nouvelle gorgée. 👉 Simple, un profil qui va droit au but, efficace et surtout pas cher. Pour 20€, on a l'un des meilleurs RQP dans sa catégorie. Peut être même le meilleur RQP des ESB du marché. Rien que pour ça, bravo DBM.

Excellent value for money. I see it well as an aperitif rum, flavored cocktails, why not give a good kick in a fruit salad. I find it woody vanilla, lots of fruit in a medley style.

Drier than the Elvira, I prefer it because it's more serious and more interesting but still too molasses-y for my taste
