8,2:On the nose, strong barrel impact with toasted wood notes like dark chocolate, caramel, confectionery, spicy with vanilla, allspice, dried fruits, herbal, flowery molasses, sweet with with honey, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, the wine/cognac barrel impact is even stronger with grapes, raisins, leather, creamy with dairy, peppery. 7,9:On the palate, the attack is sweet honey, flowery, wine/cognac barrel finish and grapes, mirabelle plum, green and dried fruits, slightly mineral, creamy roasted wood notes like caramel, dark chocolate, leather, spicy with allspice, vanilla, on oxidation, sugarcane hints arise, some tobacco. 7,7:The finish is medium long, dry&tannic, with notes from palate lingering on. Also weiß auch nicht, auch kein überragendes Teil, finde auch hier ist wieder das Weinfinish zu deutlich erkennbar. Anfangs ist er auch recht fruchtig, erst mit der Zeit kommt dann eine leichte Süße dank Karamell.

Also diese Planteray Kollektion war gar nicht mal so gut. Hab jetzt mal die ganzen Samples probiert, aber da war jetzt wirklich keiner dabei, den ich persönlich bräuchte und empfehlen würde. Alle wirken trotz der Verdünnung, verwässert und trotzdem meist alkoholisch und haben so eine künstliche Süße.

Quite restrained on the nose, primarily showing caramel, dried fruits, and spicy chocolate notes. On the palate, unfortunately, the whole thing gets a bit out of balance because, alongside more pronounced spices, the alcohol is especially dominant. The profile is overall not well balanced enough and therefore doesn't convince me, especially on the palate.
