Heimat Distillers DDL Ramero Rum PX-Sherry Cask
Raisins and chocolate lead here, a Demerara base finished in PX sherry casks that leaves a real dried-fruit stamp on the glass. The nose runs a touch quiet — several tasters say so — but the palate makes up for it: sherry, cane sugar, a bit of caramel and berry. The 46% sits well integrated, so it drinks balanced rather than hot. Fans of sherried Guyana rum find plenty to like; just don't expect it to be deep.

#6318 06/08.02.2026 My first visit to The Village in Nuremberg and it was a very pleasant surprise. I will definitely attend again as there is more than enough rum going around. Like many of their other releases this one is also pretty good especially when looking at the pirce tag. A nice balanced and fruity rum with some berries, butts and chocolate amongst others.
Review by Rum mit Carlos
