#6935 19.06.2026 Finally back from our company outing where we had nice food and I stuck with Diet Coke so I could drive home from work. Walked the 7.8 km to the event and back to exercise a bit. Now listening to some nice tracks by Audiobass, Yodis, Anton Pallmer and Roman Messer on Spotify. A pretty decent rum. Round profile with sugarcane, earthy, spice, light leather, some floral and roasted wood notes.

J avoue que j attendais autre chose avec ce rhum , il manque vraiment de profondeur. Il laisse une sensation vraiment éphémère. Dommage parce que le nez semblait prometteur avec de l alcool bien intégré, du toasté, sucre brun et il s ouvre progressivement vers le fruité. Bouche décevante.

Alors que dire de ce jus C’est pas mauvais, Des belles notes de fruits de boisé, Du toffe, Un peu de caramel.. Mais globalement je le trouve un peu léger, Avec un petit manque de longueur, Et de Pep’s en watt’s

Le nez est très fruité, avec des notes qui font penser à un TDL, surtout sur le cassis et les fruits rouges. On sent aussi la cerise, dans un style un peu moins sucré. L’alcool est assez discret au nez, mais se ressent un peu plus en bouche sans être trop présent. La finale est douce, plutôt courte mais agréable. Une légère astringence reste un peu après. Le prix est légèrement élevé

#1726 07-02-2026 - Rate 8.3 Got a sample at a warehouse tasting at Nobilis a few months ago. Have not tasted that many Ten Cane rums. But I like this one. Very floral. Nose of tropical fruit, citrus, brown sugar, wood and a floral vibe. Palate follows nose close. Medium finish dominated by dried fruits, wood and a floral quality.

Thanks for this sample to a friend who brought it to me directly from the Berlin rum depot as a hot new release. I like this Ten Cane because no one really knows much about the casks. Here I feel lots of licorice, which I associate with Ten Cane and I enjoy it.

Höchst ungewöhnlicher Ten cane. Intensiv fruchtig und blumig, Kräuterig an Nase sowie Gaumen. Wirkt an der Nase noch etwas süßer mit überreifer Kiwi und Sandelholz, an Gaumen dann deutlich trockener, holziger und säuerlicher (Stachelbeere) als erwartet. Mir sind die Tannine auch eher eine Spur zu viel. Alkohol ist gut integriert aber da gibt's andere ten cane Abfüllungen die mir besser gefallen ehrlich gesagt.

Lots of fruit on the nose here, just like the Roots TDL I just had. Similar in nose profile. Cherry here, a little less cough syrupy than the TDL. Booze aroma is lighter here. Apply in the mouth but doesn't show up as much in the smell. Sweet finish, which is short as well but a little longer than the TDL. Any astringency hangs around for a bit. Bottle split thanks to xamsx.
