Phew, way too much oloroso influence for me. The sherry really overwhelms the Hampden. Hampden DNA not so typically present.

#6424 02.03.2026 Enjoying an extra sample while watching "Blackout" about the US soldiers in Afghanistan. This is not what I expected. The sherry has taken over and so has the tannins. Even after resting for a good while the cask is still dominant.

#1715 16-01-2026 - Rate 6.8 Had hopes for this one, but its all sherry cask. Will it be to much sherry? Nose of tropical fruit. glue and sherry. Palate of tropical fruits, glue, ester and sherry. Medium finish dominated by sherry. The sherry was to much.
