Yeah, this Guyana is definitely top notch. Hope I get to travel there myself soon. It's really dark, very roasted and woody, lots of dark chocolate and even coffee are clearly noticeable here. Good rum 😅

Rather intense to be a PM, It has the usual traits with ripe apples, aniseed and pencil shavings, with lesser acidity then expected. The alcool is really well integrated and ABV perception is lower than the 50+

Quite a light color for 20 years. The nose is restrained. Woody, roasted, then spicy notes and a bit of caramel. The ABV is barely noticeable. On the palate, it’s noticeably stronger. Along with the wood/roast notes, there’s a hint of anise. The finish is medium-length with the barrel flavors. A very slight bitterness at the end, which I actually like. The rum drinks easily with well-integrated ABV, it’s pretty good but doesn’t blow me away.
