6,9:On the nose, slightly alcoholic, sweet toasted wood notes like chocolate, nuts, spicy, toasted coconut, a lot of dried fruits like raisins, apricots, some orange peel, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, tobacco and leather are obvious, flowery molasses, the brings slight smoke, caramel, vanilla, hints of cappuccino. 6,7:On the palate, the attack is mild, thin, slightly alcoholic and soapy, with toasted wood and sweet notes like caramel, cocoa, cappuccino, leather, some biscuits, spicy, the molasses is candied, as the fruits dried with raisins, apricots, tropical with coconut and citrus. 6,7:The finish is short, dry, slightly tannic, thin, with sweet toasted wood notes, spicy, various fruits like dried, yellow, plum, coconut and hints of banana, grassy, flowery molasses. Grundsätzlich bewerte ich Rums nicht anhand ihres Preises, sondern nehme diesen höchstens in einer Anmerkung auf wenn das PLV stimmt. Dies ist hier definitiv auch der Fall. Auch wenn er an seinen Vorgänger nicht herankommen mag bekommt man hier einen Easy-Sipper, der durch die Verdünnung zwar recht flach ist, aber für das "kleine Portmonee" wirklich viel liefert!

Ha klar, ist nicht so der typische Rum aus dem Supermarkt, aber auch nicht der typische Foursquare. Für einen REWE Rum schon ein Brett, die typischen Foursquare Marker sind schon gut erkennbar, Vanille, Kokosnuss und ne leichte Süße.

Danke an skyfly für den experimentellen Split. Man kann schon erkennen dass es vermutlich ein Foursquare ist, aber irgendwie wirkt er künstlich süß und dünn, obwohl er im Gegensatz zu 40% doch recht alkoholisch ist.

Wohl eher ein Rum für Anfänger. Die Foursquare Kokosnuss Note ist nur marginal vorhanden. Ansonsten fehlt ihm aufgrund des geringen ABV an Tiefe. Ob hier nachgezuckert wurde, kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Netter Sipper, leichte Noten von Kokos und Plätzchenteig. Leider ein wenig dünn und kurz im Abgang. Ansonsten aber solider Anfängerrum zum unvergleichlichen Preispunkt. Scheint aber im Vergleich der verschiedenen Chargen eher ein Glückstreffer zu sein…

Mehr als solider Standardrum. Sehr ausgewogen und zugänglich. Karamell, Vanille, Eichenholz, Kokosnuss und getrocknete Früchte. Am Gaumen wird die leichte Süssung erkennbar, insgesamt eines angenehmes und gut trinkbares Profil. Exzellentes Preis-Qualitätsniveau.

Bewertet wird die neue Abfüllung 'Rewe feine Welt Caribbean Rum 8 Anos', nicht der alte "Geheimtipp" Barbados mit dem weißen Label. Falls der neue ein Blend ist, hat er mMn. trotzdem vorrangig das typische Barbados Profil mit Vanille, Karamell und etwas Kokos, insb. im Abgang. Für den aufgerufen Preis keinesfalls schlecht, kann man machen. Drinks: - Pur: 3.5/5 - Rum Cola: 3/5 - Rum Mule: 3.5/5

Wer den alten Rewe feine Welt Rum kennt wird hiermit keine freude haben weitaus schlechter als sein vorgänger ... definitiv etwas nachgezuckert. leichte süße ist zu schmecken und etwas pfeffer und schon ist er auch schon weg.

Nase: primär karamellig/vanillig-süß. Zudem Holz und Kokosnuss. Die Früchte nehme ich nur ganz dezent wahr. Leider auch etwas alkoholisch. Geschmack: wieder karamellig-süß mit leichter Kokosnuss. Zudem etwas Frucht. Leider auch etwas dünn und alkoholisch. Ist als Foursquare erkennbar. Holt mich nicht wirklich ab und brauche ich nicht nochmal. Leider schmecken mir auch andere Foursquares bis jetzt nicht sooo gut daher kann auch dieser nicht wirklich punkten bei mir. Preis/Leistung echt gut. Für einen günstigen Foursquare würde ich allerdings (etwas mehr ausgeben und) zu einem anderen greifen.

anfangs etwas relativ angenehme süsse frucht, aber das war es schon.sonst scheint wr mir etwasnachgezuckert zu sein und ein kanditat für kopfschmerzen zu sein. Alkoholisch. grenzwertig alles. Vorsicht gemeint ist der neue rewe feine welt nicht der barbados vorgänger.
