#7058 17.07.2026 A few late evening samples while streaming the main stage from Tomorrowland. A very nice rum with a very good price tag in my mind. Intense profile with fruits, spice, mint, caramel, roasted, tobacco and some leather.

Exceptional nose on the wood, very well done, the pineau is present and gives this sweetness on the nose really amazing on exotic fruits. Palate much drier, straightforward and alcoholic, maybe due to opening the bottle. To taste again in a few weeks. Warm finish on the wood.

I can tell you that this is a truly beautiful bottle that will appeal to a very wide audience. Why? Because its woody coconut nose (worthy of a Barbados rum) draws us in like flies. The freshness and solvent residue add a touch of complexity for the more discerning palates. The palate is a mix of indulgence and menthol freshness. The alcohol is very well integrated. The finish is quite persistent with coconut wood and a sensation of freshness to finish.

Oh man, a great Thai rum, who would have thought. But as already mentioned, it has the typical Foursquare markers, definitely a lot of coconut, but also some caramel and cream toffee. Surprisingly good.

Wow, what a great surprise. On the nose and palate, it immediately triggers the Foursquare and New Yarmouth 1994 markers. Intense, creamy, and with a pleasant saltiness/BBQ. Absolutely recommended, I need a bottle of this.

Hard to believe this is supposed to be a Thai rum. The aromas all match the well-known FSQ markers. On the nose, I especially like the varnish, and on the palate, the creamy toffee. The finish is nicely long.

Once again, a nice surprise what this bottling presents. In a blind tasting, I would have guessed a Foursquare because of the coconut notes. When you don't expect anything from a bottling, you are usually positively surprised, like here.

Blindly, I would place this Thai rum in the direction of Foursquare Barbados. On the nose, slightly smoky (bbq) with lots of coconut, caramel, banana, and fresh varnish. The alcohol could be a bit better integrated both on the nose and palate but it's not too disturbing. On the palate, it’s complemented by mint, peach, ginger & maple syrup, and pleasant tannins in the finish. The Pineau finish comes through supportively here but thankfully doesn’t dominate the rum... Really an extraordinary bottling from Thailand!

Thailand??? I would have never guessed. I've never had such an intense coconut aroma before. Plus buttery cookie dough. Somehow it feels artificial, but it's still kind of exciting. After a little while, smoky BBQ aromas join in. Crazy stuff.

A very nice discovery, this Thai rum is scented with coconut and barrel notes with the Foursquare markers that I really like. On the palate, it’s round, warm, caramelized, with well-integrated alcohol, then the coconut comes through strongly with exotic fruits. The finish is surprising with caramelized licorice and then a menthol freshness sensation, a bit like some TDLs. A very nice tasting and really a great value bottle to have on your shelf.

Definitely a clear Foursquare kinship. Maybe a bit more coconut and honey. But not cloyingly sweet, rather very pleasant. A slight hint of mint also plays along, especially at the end. A nice drop to wind down the day. The only downside is the waxed cork, which releases small wax particles when cut open. You can also notice the alcohol a bit, but it's still tolerable. Overall quite pleasant.
