Hanse Spirit Hamburg February 2026. Also nothing special, hardly different from the previous two. Very roasted, lots of coffee here, but also some caramel and still some wood.

#6453 08.03.2026 Time to run through the samples I brought home from Whiskymessen in Kolding yesterday. Like most of these releases, this one is also sweet. This one has more citrus and honey norætes than the other ones. Still sweet and oily on the palate with a light spicy touch.

The Quorhum Antilia is a very accessible, soft rum in the classic Spanish style. Its mix of vanilla, caramel, nuts, and dark chocolate makes it pleasantly round and easy to drink. Complexity is present but remains more elegant than powerful. For me, it's a rum you can enjoy relaxed neat, but it also works well in high-quality rum cocktails. Especially fans of softer, slightly sweet Solera rums will get their money's worth here.

Nose: smells good, but taste not... watery... not much flavor... boldness 😅 6 Palate: 6.5 But already a bit sweet, not really aromatic... it's okay... not special!
