Grande dégustation Savanna avec Artur. Un nez boisé et et fruité (fruits jaunes) avec du végétal fermenté. La bouche est moins agréable avec trop de goûts inhabituels chez Savanna et bizarres. Les goûts bizarres restent en finale avec un côté plus habituel de bubble gum à la fraise plus habituel chez ce distillateur.

Not a bad, but rather uninteresting Savanna.

Typical nose of pineapple and menthol and some caramel. The taste is unfortunately a little flat and entertaining and mainly spicy, smoky and very woody. Some menthol comes through and it is subtly reminiscent of cognac... Definitely far too little fruit, hardly any complexity overall and the alcohol could also be better integrated for just 54.2%🤷🏼♂️

Read full review →It's quite a strange rum but one which you should persevere with. Complex and reasonably well-balanced with just an occasional flirtation with bitterness. All in all a very interesting rum and one I am pleased to have spent time with. Expect to see more from the Reunion Island on this...
