Granate! Edit: nachdem ich ihn jetzt nochmal in Ruhe probieren konnte, hat es meinen ersten Eindruck bestätigt. Die 31 Jahre im Fass haben ihn nicht zu holzig oder Faßlastig gemacht. Wieder ein sehr hohes Niveau was TheRumCask abgefüllt hat. Wer weiß ob da nicht nochmal ein 32jähriger oder noch älterer kommt, der wieder überrascht mit seiner Qualität.

Ja die 9,0 hätte ich blind auch vergeben. Absoluter top Rum. Ist wirklich ein sehr röstoges Teil, viel dunkle Schokolade, Mokka und Kaffee. Außerdem leicht rauchig, Vanille und Holz sind auch mit am Start. Geiles Teil.

Der neueste REV von the Rum cask. Intensiv holzig würzig und floral. Veilchen, Lakritze, Bitterorange, dunkle Schokolade und kräftiger Mokka, leicht sprudlig vom Mundgefühl 😄. Im Abgang dann schon relativ arg an der Grenze der Holzigkeit. Müsste ich im Direktvergleich nochmal testen, hohe Qualität aber durchaus!

der neue, 31-jährige TRC 94 Enmore REV im Vergleich mit dem jüngsten 94er REV, den ich aus der Guyana-Sample-Kiste auftreiben konnte, der 27-jährige RC Ed. 22 (den ich extrem gut finde)…erstaunlich, wie gering die Unterschiede an der Nase sind, hätte ich jetzt so nicht erwartet, d.h. der TRC ist überhaupt nicht fasslastiger als der RC (was wiederum für das weitere Potenzial der 94er REV Fässer spricht!). Am Gaumen schiebt der TRC dann allerdings doch ein wenig mehr über Fass/Schwarztee, aber alles noch absolut im grünen Bereich. Chapeau, wieder ein sehr gutes Händchen bewiesen!

Richtig hohes Niveau! Grenzwerte Bitterkeit, schon deutlich holzig, ohne direkten Vergleich nicht so fruchtig wie die jüngeren Revs. Muss bald gegen andere verkostet werden.

Sehr sehr geile Nase ... schön würzig mit Schokolade, Kaffee dunkle Trockenfrüchte etwas Leder Eiche und Vanille. Alkohol minimal spürbar. Am Gaumen Schön dick und ölige Konsistenz... Rote Trockenfrüchte,Vanille Mokka Kaffee Leder und gut Röstaromen . Sehr Harmonisch und ausgewogen.... gefällt mir extrem gut.

Was für ein toller rum! Alte Zigarrenkiste, Lakritz, Feigen, Datteln, Kakao, Brombeeren - die Nase ist genial! Im Mund dann schon eher auf der trockenen, leicht rauchigen Seite aber sehr stimmig und Alkohol toll eingebunden. Seit langem wieder ein rum der mich richtig abholt!!
