"Extremely well-balanced," as one taster put it — a blend pulling from all five Jamaican distilleries, so you get dried tropical fruit (pineapple, banana), caramel, a clear woody backbone and a touch of glue. Several found the Long Pond and Hampden parts easy to spot, with the funk kept gentle rather than wild. Worth noting a few felt it leans a bit too oaky.

#6315 06/08.02.2026 My first visit to The Village in Nuremberg and it was a very pleasant surprise. I will definitely attend again as there is more than enough rum going around. A very solig blend with good balance and very good ABV integration. Nice and fruity with some caramel and chocolate.

Und ein jamaikanischer Blend, hier ist auch wirklich alles dabei, Ester, Klebstoff, die tropischen Früchte Ananas und Banane, aber auch Karamell lässt sich erkennen. Ich finde dieser Blend ist gut gelungen.

Nett, aber mir zuviel Holz Edit: Nach den ersten Eindrücken ein durchaus wie schon gesagt ein netter Blend aus mehreren jamaikanischen Destillen. Mir aber immer noch ein wenig zu holzig beim Abgang. Konnte nicht wirklich alle einzelnen rausschmeißen.

Soul of Jamaica, sehr schöner Blend wo besonders die NY und LP Komponenten sehr schön durchkommen. Ein wenig Banane vom WP und gott seit dank nur minimale Ester/Klebstoff Noten vom Hampden, die nach einiger Zeit verfliegen. Sehr runde Sache, ich find ihn sehr gelungen.

Schön ausbalancierten Blend bei dem Hampden scheinbar mal im Hintergrund steht. Neben den typisch fruchtigen Jamaica-Markern meine ich zu erkennen, dass mindestens einer der Bestandteile einen intensiven Sherry-, bzw. Rotweinfasseinfluss aufweist was mir persönlich leider gar nicht liegt. Dennoch ein schöner Blend.

Sample von der HanseSpirit‘26. alle 5 Jamaika Distillen in einen Blend. Das klingt schon toll. Nase: schön zitrusfruchtig mit feinen, unaufdringlichen Ester-Noten. Vordergründig Limette und Zitrone, dahinter Ananas und Banane sowie Stachelbeere. Honig rundet ab. Beim kräftigeren riechen kommen etwas Essig und eine käsige Note hinzu. Interessant. Aber selbstverständlich insgesamt total typisch Jamaika. Der Alkohol ist ziemlich gut eingebunden. 8,3 Gaumen: Intensiv und zunächst adstringent mit deutlichen Estern. Vorne Zitrusfrüchte und insbesondere Zitronenschale, dazu säuerliche Ananas und etwas Banane. Leicht bitter-holzig. Er bekommt ziemlich schnell eine ölige und speckige Textur. Ich vermag nicht klar auszumachen, welche Distille hier den größten Anteil hat. Insgesamt ein guter Blend, der aber bei mir keinen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlässt. 8,1

#1735 27-02-2026 - Rate 7.7 I like blends. But most if it’s blends from the same distillery. I’m usually not the biggest fan of cross distillery blends. Often findes the a bit messy. I like it when I can place a rum when I drink it. This is not the case with cross distillery blends. This one is a bit messy but has a nice finish and after taste

Rich fruity aromas full of tropical fruits, fully ripe limes, and red berry notes. Along with cask influences, cooling menthol, and subtle minerality. All the blended origins come through, especially Hampden and Long Pond with their typical fruit profiles. It works perfectly and offers a great and complex flavor spectrum. A very successful blend.

Ordentlicher Multidistillery Blend aus Jamaica. Blind hätte ich hier nur LongPond und Hampden rausgeschmeckt. Für eine bessere Bewertung ist er mir leider etwas zu holzig, ansonsten gefällt er mir gut.

Schöner Blend, für mich sehr harmonisch wenn auch durchaus etwas holzbetont. Wirkt auf mich eher nicht so frisch, hell und gelbfruchtig wie man es bei Jamaica vielleicht erwarten würde. Die Fruchtigkeit geht eher in Richtung getrockneter tropischer Früchte (Ananas, Banane). Diese getrockneten tropischen Früchte haben auch etwas karamellisiertes. Gewinnt mit jeder weiteren Minute im Glas und wird mit der Zeit immer komplexer und sanfter in der Nase. Ich bilde mir ein hier den Long Pond Ed. 59 als Bestandteil wieder finden zu können.

Ich konnte diesen schönen Jamaika blend auf der Nürnberg Whisky/Rummesse verkosten und fand ihn hervorragend :) hab mir sofort eine Flasche gekauft. Schöner Jamaikaner aus verschiedenen Destillerien mit guten ester Funk der aber nicht zu stark ist .
