#6315 06/08.02.2026 My first visit to The Village in Nuremberg and it was a very pleasant surprise. I will definitely attend again as there is more than enough rum going around. A very solig blend with good balance and very good ABV integration. Nice and fruity with some caramel and chocolate.

#1735 27-02-2026 - Rate 7.7 I like blends. But most if it’s blends from the same distillery. I’m usually not the biggest fan of cross distillery blends. Often findes the a bit messy. I like it when I can place a rum when I drink it. This is not the case with cross distillery blends. This one is a bit messy but has a nice finish and after taste

Nice, but too much wood for me. Edit: After the first impressions, indeed as said a nice blend from several Jamaican distilleries. But still a bit too woody for me on the finish. Couldn't really pick out all the individual ones.

And a Jamaican blend, here you really get everything: ester, glue, the tropical fruits pineapple and banana, but also caramel can be detected. I think this blend is well done.

Soul of Jamaica, very nice blend where especially the NY and LP components come through very nicely. A little banana from the WP and thank God only minimal ester/glue notes from the Hampden, which fade after a while. Very rounded thing, I find it very successful.

Sample from HanseSpirit '26. All 5 Jamaican distilleries in one blend. That already sounds great. Nose: nicely citrusy with fine, unobtrusive ester notes. Foreground lime and lemon, behind pineapple and banana as well as gooseberry. Honey rounds it off. When smelling more strongly, some vinegar and a cheesy note appear. Interesting. But of course overall totally typical Jamaica. The alcohol is quite well integrated. 8.3 Palate: Intense and initially astringent with distinct esters. Forefront citrus fruits and especially lemon peel, plus sour pineapple and some banana. Slightly bitter-woody. It quickly gets an oily and bacon-like texture. I can't clearly tell which distillery has the biggest share here. Overall a good blend, but it doesn't leave a lasting impression on me. 8.1

Nicely balanced blend where Hampden apparently takes a back seat. Besides the typical fruity Jamaica markers, I think at least one of the components has an intense sherry or red wine cask influence which personally I don’t like at all. Still a nice blend.

Decent multi-distillery blend from Jamaica. Blind, I would have only picked out LongPond and Hampden. For a better rating, it's unfortunately a bit too woody for me, otherwise I like it.

Rich fruity aromas full of tropical fruits, fully ripe limes, and red berry notes. Along with cask influences, cooling menthol, and subtle minerality. All the blended origins come through, especially Hampden and Long Pond with their typical fruit profiles. It works perfectly and offers a great and complex flavor spectrum. A very successful blend.

I was able to taste this beautiful Jamaica blend at the Nuremberg Whisky/Rum fair and found it excellent :) I immediately bought a bottle. Nice Jamaican from various distilleries with good ester funk but not too strong.

Nice blend, very harmonious for me though somewhat wood-forward. To me, it doesn't feel as fresh, bright, and yellow-fruity as you might expect from Jamaica. The fruitiness leans more towards dried tropical fruits (pineapple, banana). These dried tropical fruits also have a caramelized touch. Gains complexity and softness in the nose with every minute in the glass. I think I can identify the Long Pond Ed. 59 as a component here.
