Sip it neat and the nose is the best part — banana, orange, apricot and honey, with a little chemical funk behind it. The palate is where people cool off: oak, roast and burnt sugar take over, and at 40% several tasters find it thin and watered-down. A 15-year Jamaica–Trinidad blend that promises more on the nose than it keeps in the glass.

Nose: at first a bit of Jamaican funk but still round, not bad! Mouth: oh oh, way too weak! Almost none of the fruit remains, only briefly shining through again at the finish. Finish: dominated by barrel and wood. Unfortunately, not so great except for the nose. The dilution is clearly noticeable.

Rather weak, hardly any flavors present, especially in the mouth and aftertaste. The base spirit was probably already not good, but the rum was watered down too much, but still has a rather alcoholic sharpness.

Original impressions from 2017 rum calendar. Nose: ** Taste: ** Overall: ** ”Whiskeysmak.” Five years since I firat sampled this rum and I gotta say I don’t find the taste of whiskey at all. My younger me probably got it all wrong :) anyway the nose is banana with some chemical smell to it. Palate is banana and barrel with some sweetness in the back. A little in the dry side.

Very fruity and intense on the nose... on the palate, the wood and roasted notes dominate... a bit bitter at the end... still quite full-bodied despite the dilution but not very well-balanced

Nose that smells like saddle/leather, not very pleasant; on the palate the leather/woody and earthy side is present... no one, I don't really like it, strange!!!

This is definitely a worthy park influenced rum blend , loads of Jamaican funk that gives beautiful natural caramel , vanilla and smoke flavours .
