This bottling from Louis Santo has pleased me the most so far. The taste is again very sweet but this time much more harmonious. In the mouth, hints of sherry and a kind of strawberry yogurt can be tasted, of course again sweet and slightly woody.

A solid sweet entry-level rum with notes of sherry, chocolate, spices, and caramel on the nose. On the palate, also notes of sherry, caramel, chocolate, raisins, and spices. Overall, a good rum but nothing special.

Quite dark color. Something for the eye. The nose impression is nothing special but also not unpleasant. The rum was in a bourbon cask with a PX finish. The sherry influence is clearly noticeable. That also brings the sweet note, which however gives a nice roundness. On the palate, aromas from the PX cask influence dominate. At 40%, of course, easy to drink even in bigger sips. You can still notice some freshness from the agricole origin. The finish follows the same aroma line. Overall something for PX lovers who like sweet notes. Quite drinkable but not very complex.
