It impresses with its balance. Roasted notes, coffee, and dark chocolate are harmoniously integrated, making it a very pleasant sipper. An elegant and surprisingly complex Mauritius rum with a strong overall package.

The aroma is prominently licorice and the taste is sweet, rich, oily, and spicy on the finish. Medium-long aftertaste.

Oh yes, this is a really awesome sipper. The low ABV probably works in its favor. Very roasty and tasty anyway. Coffee is very noticeable, but also dark chocolate and cappuccino. Strong stuff... ;-)

I love these New Grove aromas, and the nose of this rum is no exception! Very harmonious aromas with a tendency towards toasted barrel and fruit. Also very pleasant and easy to drink on the palate. Everything is harmonious, balanced, and complex.
