Inselstoff (from the island manufactory Deckena in Norderney) labeled this rum for AIDA. It smells very fresh and fruity, reminiscent of juicy cherry, and tastes a bit like that too. Woody notes dominate, accompanied by a silky smoky aroma. You can sense a certain sweetness at the start. The finish is rather short and sour. Overall, in my opinion, a solid mid-range rum.
