Agricole drinkers who like their oak loud will get on with this one. New French oak dominates — heavy wood, cinnamon, a near-bitter edge — with grass, hay and apricot underneath and sugarcane returning once you add water. At 60.8% the alcohol is remarkably well integrated for something this young, and the body turns creamy. Intense, a touch raw, but genuinely interesting.

Nose: at first reserved, floral, perfume, hay Then fruits and dried fruits come in, especially apricots Palate: here barrel and spice dominate, but the other notes from the nose are also present, alcohol well integrated Very spicy, slightly bitter, intense aftertaste Very good Agricole, very balanced, not too bitter, I like it despite the fact that Agricole rum is usually not my first choice

Very woody for its young age, almost bitter. This is probably due to the aging in new French oak barrels. Also very spicy. The alcohol is very well integrated, with a nice creamy texture in the mouth. Insanely intense for its young age. I would have preferred if the rum had been aged only in a bourbon barrel and had spent a bit more time there. The quality is top-notch, you can already sense that if the rum gets more time to mature, we have unicorn potential here.

Very cask-driven and spicy, which suits it well and gives it additional depth. The alcohol is excellently integrated. With water, a bit more cane comes through again and the aromas alternate. Exciting!

Wahnsinnig schöne würzige Nase, die vor allem aber auch eine tolle Aprikosen-Note und dadurch auch eine schöne leichte Süße mitbringt. Am Gaumen deutlich würziger, auch das Zuckerrohr kommt intensiv daher das es mir fast an Honig erinnert. Die Aprikose bleibt präsent wenn auch deutlich trockener. Insgesamt gefällt mir diese Abfüllung mit dieser noch jungen Reifedauer schlicht sehr gut.

Puh, was ist das denn? Ziemlich punchy im Antritt am Gaumen, man merkt die Jugend, aber dann doch recht spannend. Ich finde Gewürze, etwas Holz und vor allem Bittermandel. Sehr ungestüm, aber doch ganz spannend. Aber nichts, wovon ich mir eine Flasche zulegen würde.

Sehr holzig. Sehr würzig. Das Fass hat hier ordentlich zugeschlagen. In der Nase aber auch fruchtig. Leicht grassige Anklänge.

Viel Fasseinfluss mit Vanillin Noten- ich würde auf ein frisches Eichenfass tippen. Fast schon nussig, holzig, grasige Noten. Sehr guter Agricole, bei dem mir etwas Tiefgang fehlt.
