Most helpful positive review
I find this rum very harmonious and easy to drink. The nose is pleasant and sweet with aromas of dried fruit, caramel, baking spices, and butter cake. A floral note accompanies a nice nuttiness and gives way to some orange peel. On the palate, dried dates, caramel, tropical fruits, vanilla, baking spices, nuts, and licorice come through. Later, a bit of cocoa. The 48% ABV makes it very smooth and approachable. The medium-long finish is pleasantly spicy with cask notes, caramel, nuts, and dried fruit. Chocolate, wood, and a floral note round out the finish. I really enjoyed this pour. Thanks to @Mur for the great sample 😀

#6984 02.07.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after a checkup at the doctor. Listening to some EDM for a change on Spotify. Surprisingly good rum from this relatively new rum country. Fresh and grassy profile with fruits, honey, caramel and light roasted wood and salt.

The next rum from the Galapagos Islands, I wonder what it can do? A Spanish style that almost disappoints me a bit. Vanilla, caramel, a bit of orange, somehow I feel like something's missing here. Towards the finish, a bit of chocolate, like what you know from Ecuador? Easy to drink, but that's about it.

Guter Stoff.
