Was also a great Panama rum, despite the low ABV it managed to convince. Of course, because of the age, there's a lot of wood at first, but you can also detect chocolate as well as a slight fruitiness.

8,4:On the nose, sweet syrupy port barrel impact is strong, with various dried and red fruits, grapes, the wood is toasted with caramel, roasted nuts, leather, spicy with vanilla, slightly medicinal touch, sulphurous, bump in our nosetrils. On aeration, banana arises, molasses is vegetal, floral, chocolate and confectionery join. 8,4:On the palate, the attack is sweet with port barrel impact and various dried, red, citrus fruits, grapes, berries, marmalade like, syrupy, slightly fermented with banana, oily, buttery, the wood is toasted with pastry, caramel, maple, toffee, leather, spicy, metallic patina joins, the molasses is floral. 8.3:The finish is, dry&tannic with toasted oak notes like toffee, leather, nuts, spicy, port barrel impact is strong, sweet, fruity with dried, citrus fruits, berries, banana, some candied, molasses is earthy with tobacco.

Panama as I love it. Soft, creamy, pleasant and simply delicious. This is the epitome of a sipper. 26 years of aging with a finish that works perfectly. The cask notes are perfectly integrated. On the nose, red fruits and blueberries. On the palate, a big portion of toffee. Popcorn and vanilla. Plus nice cask notes. This is just fun. You can sip it away like that. Alcohol is practically not present. Does it lack a bit of body? Yes... The finish could also be longer. Unfortunately, there is no cask strength version. That's a shame. But I'm fully satisfied. Wanted a high-quality, creamy and accessible rum at drinking strength. I got that here 100%.

Tried it and immediately took a bottle - super easy-drinking and fruity sweet Panama rum that the Port Finish suits extremely well! Still quite closed on the nose, it really opens up on the palate and shines despite the somewhat low %.
