Whisky Fair Rhein-Ruhr Düsseldorf April 2026. Next up is the Iron Maiden. Typical Jamaica, as the lady at the stand said, I don’t find it that way at all. Rather spicy and especially roasted, coffee and chocolate are recognizable.

In the nose rather spicy with fruit in the background, in taste exactly the opposite. Pleasant sweetness and therefore mild and easy to drink. Closest to plum. Thus a very unusual aroma profile, nice! There are plenty of vanilla-caramel rums.. Drinks: - Neat: 4/5 - Rum Fashioned: 4.5/5 - Rum Cola: 3/5

Light Jamaican, reminds me of Appleton. I'm pretty sure the Jamaica part comes from Appleton. Has a special note, spices/roast aromas? That I can't identify. Definitely quite sweetened. It tastes better over time and is no longer so harsh.
