Whisky Fair Rhein-Ruhr Düsseldorf April 2026. Dann gibt es als nächstes den Iron Maiden. Typisch Jamaika, wie die Dame am Stand meinte, finde ich ihn so gar nicht. Eher würzig und vor allem röstig, Kaffee und Schokolade sind erkennbar.

Im Geruch eher würzig mit Frucht im Hintergrund, im Geschmack genau anders herum. Angenehme Süße und dadurch mild und gut trinkbar. Am ehesten Richtung Pflaume. Somit ein sehr außergewöhnliches Aromen - Profil, schön! Vanille-Karamell Rums gibt es zur Genüge.. Drinks: - Pur: 4/5 - Rum Fashioned: 4.5/5 - Rum Cola: 3/5

Gut zu trinken, macht nichts falsch, hat aber auch keine Highlights.

Leichter Jamaikaner, erinnert an Appleton. Hat eine spezielle Note, Gewürze/Röst Aromen? Die ich nicht zuordnen kann. Auf jeden Fall ordentlich gesüßt (und gefärbt?). Mit der Zeit schmeckt er besser, weil er mutmaßlich sehr jung ist.
