8,7:On the nose, the first impression we get is quite heavy with medicinal bias, roasted wood notes like dark chocolate, espresso, nuts, caramel and spicy with cinnamon/baking spices, anise, slightly waxy. On aeration, dried dates and cherries burst out, flowery molasses, some black tea, there are meaty, leather, metallic notes, sweet tones with Cola, brown sugar and some coffee. 8,8:On the palate, the attack is tasty with dried dates, raisins and prunes, pairing roasted wood notes with dark chocolate, toffee, quite spicy with pepper and cinnamon, waxy and vegetal with an olive, the molasses brings licorice and black tea.On oxidation, leather, roasted nuts join the game, caramelized Demerara sugar, slightly metallic patina and tannins, dried apricots, berries and citrus fruits from fruity aspect of this rum, full bodied, complex, yet balanced. 8.8:The finish is long, dry and tannic, waxy, round with dried fruits pairing roasted wood notes. Edit:21.9.25, an upgrade to 8.8, oxidation does its job

A pleasant nose with notes of dark chocolate, dried dades and spices. It’s rather mild on the tongue with peppery and sharp notes os the dark bitter chocolate and espresso. The aftertaste is long with characteristic notes of waxes and rubber. An altight bottle but not mind blowing

A very Enmore nose with old varnished wood, wood varnish, dried fruits, nuts, and Chinese spices. The palate is beautiful, full, woody, and spicy. The finish is long, on the wood. Subtle until now, the bitter caramel takes more and more space.
