CDI Enmore (Versailles) Guyana (Bottled for Denmark) 1988
Anyone chasing old wooden-still Guyana will feel at home here: 27 years off the Enmore single wooden pot still, dry and heavy with old varnished wood, dried dates, dark chocolate and espresso. One taster called it "a true Enmore," another caught hazelnut and a whole bag of fruit tea. Peppery and tannic, with a long waxy, rubbery finish. Not sweet, not gentle.

Review by Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰
Had a wonderful tasting event yesterday with only good CDI rums. This one is the second one of the six. This is a delicious rum bottled for the Danish Market. A strong rimum with a nice punch in the flavours. A true Enmore rum no doubt about that. A very well integrated proof but you may want to add a drop of water or maybe two.

La bouteille venait d'être ouverte pour cette dégustation et le rhum aurait mérité un temps d'ouverture plus long dans le verre.

A heavy, good, woody Versailles!
Review by Natascha og Aske
A pleasant nose with notes of dark chocolate, dried dades and spices. It’s rather mild on the tongue with peppery and sharp notes os the dark bitter chocolate and espresso. The aftertaste is long with characteristic notes of waxes and rubber. An altight bottle but not mind blowing
