Nice FSQ with a distinctive coconut note. If you're looking for a classic FSQ, this is probably the one. Considering the price, a really good product that works perfectly as an easy sipper.

Tasted at Rhumfest Paris 2026. First stand visited. Interesting to compare with the 2011 Foursquare release. Here, a reduced version that really highlights a lot of caramelized sweetness and coconut. Easy to drink. Very good as an opener!

Typical Foursquare nose: intense caramel, coconut, vanilla and chocolate. On the palate similar, generally little fruit but top integrated alcohol. Finish very tasty with lots of coconut and chocolate.

Ein typischer Foursquare von Swell, in dem die typischen Noten, wie zum Beispiel Kokosnuss sehr klar zu schmecken sind. Wie meist immer bei Foursquare auf hohem Niveau wie gewohnt, aber mittlerweile auch mir zu "langweilig", da fehlt der letzte Kick/Switch.

Light amber. On the nose immediately the classic Foursquare aromas. In this case with strong coconut/caramel notes. Also brown sugar and oak. On the palate this aromatic continues. Somewhat more in the spicy and woody department. Overall quite sweet, no surprises. Can be slurped away without much pondering about what's in the glass.

Tasted at the Rhum Fest Paris 2026. I was hoping to see this rum at the Swell booth and I was not disappointed. It's exactly what I expected from this Foursquare. A crazy indulgence, a clear woody backbone. A nice roasted coconut to enhance it all. And for once, under 60°. Top!

Alcohol is surprisingly well integrated, lots of vanillin from a bourbon cask. But I'm not sure if this was aged in the tropics.

Tasted during Rhum Fest Paris 2026. This one was a very good Barbados,, although classic in style without any surprise, as it's often the case with Foursquare. It's intense and well balanced, quite enjoyable.
