Bright yellow-fruit and floral notes lead, with grass, a touch of green pepper and fresh sugarcane building as it opens. Young wood and warm spice round out a long finish. Bin ganz ohne Erwartungen und ohne den hohen abv Gehalt zu kennen an den Rum gegangen, weil auf dem Label nichts gekennzeichnet. An der Nase lässt sich schon ein hoher Alkoholgehalt vermuten, am Gaumen auch, wobei dieser sehr gut eingebunden ist. Für die vorhandenen über 70% sogar fast sensationell gut! Der Rum ist sehr komplex, vollmundig und macht einfach viel Spaß. Der Abgang ist lang. Alles in Allem sehr grasi und floral mit jungem Holz und hellen Früchten. Ein Blick auf den Preis im Inn&Out Shop lässt mich allerdings etwas irritiert zurück (aktuell 300€, weiß nicht, wie viel der UVP war) Vielen Dank @AlexK

Nice Bielle, but nothing more. So this rum itself is a great one, good Agricole, and at least it has over 35%. Now, just missing a rum that my niece packed into my whatever 😅

Difficult to assess when reading the previous reviews. Despite the long breathing time, you already have to be careful not to hold your nose too deep into the glass when smelling. The alcohol is quite present here and also feels "warm" on the palate. The flavor profile is good and expands knowledge about short-aged Agricoles; but I don't have a real knockout in the glass here. I'm sure a longer aging period wouldn't have hurt. Edit: fitting for the region where I'm currently on vacation, I just drank a Slivovic – that has quite a strong similarity.

Ja, finde ich nicht schlecht. Aber für mich auch nicht besonders. Ganz lecker, aber der Alkohol beißt etwas, und dann fehlt mir da auch etwas die Tiefe. Aber ein sehr schönes Profil, wie man es von den Rum von Marie Galante kennt.

I had the chance to taste this rum today at Rum Depot, and I have to say it's absolutely amazing and the best cask strength rum I've ever had. The nose is absolutely fruity with no ester smell. The alcohol is perfectly integrated. The taste is exactly the same. Great rum, and I bought one of the last two bottles.

Interessante Rum ,so eine frische und runde nasse. Junge Holz, gelbe Früchte alles so frisch und intensiv, bißchen Melone und calvados odef Slivovic. Am Gaumen mir dass ganz überrascht so Junge rum mit so hohem ABV und so gut integriert, sehr frisch, intensiv und warm. Ganz andere Rum was ich habe letzte Zeit getrunken. Eigentlich schade dass gibt nur 60 Flaschen oder jetzt nur 59 🤣. Abgang ist schön lang und Intensiv.

Eine Verkostung auf die ich gespannt bin, da bekennender Agricole-Fan. Sehr helles frisches Gelb. Animiert zum probieren. Ein sofort einnehmender Naseneindruck. Zuerst fruchtig/florale Noten. Sehr aromatisch, etwas grüne Paprika, generell hinter den gelbfruchtigen Aromen dann grüne Noten. Anfangs nur ein Hauch Zuckerrohr, aber mit der Zeit gewinnen die Agricole-typischen Aromen immer mehr an Kraft. Der ABV von 73.9%! nicht zu spüren. Auch am Gaumen dann natürlich ein Powerhouse aber überraschend gut integriert. Im Geschmack dann eine schöne Würze und leichte Holzaromatik hinzu kommend. Dazu Olive, Grass und alles trotz der kurzen Reifezeit von knapp 2.5 Jahren super integriert. Der Abgang lange auf den würzigen Agricol-Noten mit subtiler Holzabrundung. Klasse. Leider nur eine Auflage von 60 Flaschen und ich denke jeder kann froh sein wenn man eine abbekommen hat. Vielen Dank an MarMih092 für das Sample. Bin gespannt auf weitere Reviews.
