Went into the rum completely without expectations and without knowing the high ABV content, because nothing was indicated on the label. On the nose, a high alcohol content can already be suspected, on the palate too, although it is very well integrated. For over 70% ABV, almost sensationally good! The rum is very complex, full-bodied and simply a lot of fun. The finish is long. All in all very grassy and floral with young wood and light fruits. A look at the price in the Inn&Out shop leaves me somewhat irritated (currently €300, don't know what the RRP was). Many thanks @AlexK

Nice Bielle, but nothing more. So this rum itself is a great one, good Agricole, and at least it has over 35%. Now, just missing a rum that my niece packed into my whatever 😅

GRF is in two weeks and because of that, lets check out this quite recent Rumclub release. On the nose: Olive brine notes at first, but as the rum opens up you get more grassy notes, floral and sugarcane notes in there aswell. Little bit of woody notes. Light salty and citrus notes. Taste: Warm, intense but alcohol is integrated very well. Lovely olive brine notes. Sugarcane notes. Light grassy notes.Light spicy notes in the background. Light salty notes. Balanced. Finish: Floral notes. Light sugarcane notes. Light olive notes. Light salty notes. Medium-long finish. On the palate this young Agricole rhum was leaning more towards olive notes while still offering those typical agricole notes and like a good agricole rhum, the high abv was integrated very nicely in my opinion. This palate of notes worked just a little bit better for me than typical young rhum agricoles.

Yes, I don’t think it’s bad. But for me not special either. Quite tasty, but the alcohol bites a bit, and then I also miss some depth. But a very nice profile, as you know from the rums of Marie Galante.

A tasting I'm excited about as a confessed Agricole fan. Very light fresh yellow. Invites to try. An immediately captivating nose impression. First fruity/floral notes. Very aromatic, some green pepper, generally behind the yellow fruity aromas then green notes. Initially only a hint of sugarcane, but over time the Agricole-typical aromas gain more and more strength. The ABV of 73.9%! not noticeable. Also on the palate of course a powerhouse but surprisingly well integrated. In taste then a nice spice and light wood aroma added. Plus olive, grass and everything despite the short maturation time of just under 2.5 years super integrated. The finish long on the spicy Agricole notes with subtle wood rounding. Great. Unfortunately only a batch of 60 bottles and I think everyone can be happy if they got one. Many thanks to MarMih092 for the sample. Looking forward to more reviews.

Interesting rum, such a fresh and round nose. Young wood, yellow fruits, all so fresh and intense, a bit of melon and calvados or Slivovic. On the palate, it really surprised me, such a young rum with such a high ABV and so well integrated, very fresh, intense and warm. A completely different rum from what I've had recently. Actually a shame there are only 60 bottles or now only 59 🤣. The finish is nicely long and intense.

I had the chance to taste this rum today at Rum Depot, and I have to say it's absolutely amazing and the best cask strength rum I've ever had. The nose is absolutely fruity with no ester smell. The alcohol is perfectly integrated. The taste is exactly the same. Great rum, and I bought one of the last two bottles.

A young Agricole. The alcohol is surprisingly well integrated for 2 years. Still clearly noticeable. On the nose, exotic fruits, grassy floral Agricole notes, and spices. On the palate, sweetness, probably due to the high alcohol strength. Melon, olive, and spices again. Medium-length "warm" finish.

Difficult to assess when reading the previous reviews. Despite the long breathing time, you already have to be careful not to hold your nose too deep into the glass when smelling. The alcohol is quite present here and also feels "warm" on the palate. The flavor profile is good and expands knowledge about short-aged Agricoles; but I don't have a real knockout in the glass here. I'm sure a longer aging period wouldn't have hurt. Edit: fitting for the region where I'm currently on vacation, I just drank a Slivovic – that has quite a strong similarity.
