Absolutely unic rum ! Nose: light esters, varnish, polish, glue. Charred oak, cedar wood, prunes, raisins, dry dates, cherry & dark berries. Vanilla, solvents, cocoa, roasted almonds, cinnamon. Some ripe pears, guava and quince. Maybe, hint of biscuits. Palate: Bright, juicy, rich taste of marmalade, quince jam, apricots. Vanilla, cinnamon, baked pears, some berries, brioche, sugarcane juice, maple syrup, apricots. Touch of esters, solvents, nail polish. Fantastic. Aftertaste: long, juicy. Still lot of sugarcane juice, delicate oak, apricots, little bit of berries & maple. And again, this touch of esters & solvents. Conclusion: brilliant rum. Absolutely perfect combination between esters, fruits, fresh juice & woody notes. Really high quality job. Must to try!
