Worthy Park Special Cask Release #3 Sherry 2013
Sip this neat and you get the classic Worthy Park stamp: banana, a little pear, nutmeg, then dried fruit and cherry from the sherry cask. At 57% it's warm and spicy with a long finish. Most tasters find the sherry nicely tucked in rather than loud — though one drinker hit an off sulfur note that ruined it for them.

I really like these bumped up ABV rum releases. I have a few different bottles with different finishes and I like them. The price to quality is pretty good on them. This one is fruity and you can easily pick up on the cask finish without it being too dominant. Nice and warm/spicy on the palate and a very long finish.

I truly love WP and have never been disappointed by any of their offer or IB... Until now. If you like nasty sherry edradour style with tons of sulfur, that's for you ! If you're like me, stay away from it. This sulfur taste is too prominent.

Erinnerungen an Cola-Kracher. Sherry-Finish eher dezent.

Fruit fruit fruit. :-) Fruity nose all over it. The sherry aging is quite dominant with some barrel notes. The taste ist very fruity but also a little bit spicy. Later some slight notes of vanilla and licorice. The finish is warm an soft with nice cherry fruits as well. Fantastic with a piece of dark chocolate. Great sip. Definitely recommended for a birthday present as probably everyone likes this one.

The sherry and the typical WP aromas of bananas and a little pear are immediately perceptible. On the palate, it is surprisingly much drier than the two brothers, but more elegant and rounder with a very well-integrated sweetness. However, the finish is a little shorter than the port brother from the same release, but I like the sherry finish, which is just as well integrated, a little better. Also a great rum! 84 points Blind tasting: Sweet sherry, bananas and pears are perceptible on the nose. Very sweet on the palate at the beginning, but becomes drier and drier on the back, with a clear sherry touch. The finish is medium-long, dry and sherry-heavy. A great pot-still rum that probably comes from Worthy Park or Guyana (PM). But I'm leaning towards the Worthy Park Sherry 2013-2018, Jamaica, 57% bottling. 85 points
