Tasted this great but sold out rum from Isle of Man, at the Outlier stand during the Sweden Rum Fest 2026. It’s a molasses based pot still unsweetened single cask rum aged in an Sauternes cask before bottled in just 300 bottles. If I understood it right was Dave Marsland involved in the development of it. It’s fruity, nutty, spicy and a little sweet with scents and flavors of peaches (of course), apricots, dried fruits, almonds, peppers, toffee, caramel and treacle. The finish is medium long.

Ripe peaches mixed with that dryness of cask strength, wonderful combination. Almost a little glue-like nose, fruit forward but it does not burn your nostrils like high proof spirits do. Sweet without being sticky, it is a fresh fruit sweetness, a dry medium finish
