I'm taking a shot at the tricky task of rating a rum that hasn't yet received any fan notes from Savanna. This is likely to be good. You can sense some nuts, a nice integration of the alcohol, notes of walnuts, oak, and roasted almonds. On the palate, the attack is lively, almost a bit annoying, bringing back the notes of toasted nuts. It just lacks a touch of the indulgence we found earlier on the nose.
