Trade fair review. A matter of taste. Quite okay for an extremely short-aged Hampden. Not really meant for drinking neat. Fits seamlessly with the other unaged or short-aged rums from CoR.

Rum tasted at GRF in Berlin in 2026. Ouch! Esters and funk here, just like promised. Pineapple, other tropical fruits, and nail polish with a hint of banana. Unleashed esters. The first sip is powerful, then even more powerful with the same aromas as on the nose plus a little vinegar note. The finish reveals a slight vegetal, fresh, and acidic touch already noticed on the palate.

#7392 25.09.2026 - 28.09.2026 Attending the Whisky Live in Paris 2026 with a few good friends. We had a great time and it was nice to introduce them to this event which was a first for them. Quick notes while tasting. Intense, fruity, overripe, ester, sweet, spice, rubber, glue, light roasted wood, caramel, ginger, light bitter, medicinal, salt, herbs, tar, licorice.
