Cadenhead‘s T.D.L TMAH 2005
Sip this neat with a little air and water — at 67.4% it's hot but the heat reads warm, not scratchy. You get that unmistakable TDL mint and menthol over dark berries and cassis, with a rubbery edge and an Armagnac-like acidity and oak. One member calls it "weirder" than its siblings, and that complexity is the draw. Just know the finish can turn bitter.
- Berry and cassis
- Signature TDL mint
- Complex, well-integrated

How does Cadenhead‘s T.D.L TMAH 2005 taste?
Aggregated from 18 community reviews.
Intense minty-berry TDL at cask strength Loved by people deep into column-still Trinidad rum — intense, berry-and-mint heavy, genuinely complex. The main gripe: a bitterness that creeps into the long finish.

Review by Gregor
A really nice berry tdl. 67% is intense and strong but not scratchy or unpleasant. This tdl is really very exciting and complex. I usually associate tdl with very herbal and sometimes lychee-like flavors.

03.01.2020 In a cottage with friends for the weekend with a few bottles of rum. Notes: Dark in colour. Nose: Intense, light wood, berries, floral, mint, light rubber, light caramel. Palate: Intense, warm, balanced, raisin, berries, rubber floral, light roasted. Finish: Long and warm, wood, dried fruit, mint, light chocolate, mint.

Very strong and fierce. Full bodied. Again the berries/Cassis leaning a bit towards rubber. Give it some time. It needs the air. Its a pretty intense rum but there are so many great flavours. A bit of that classic Armagnacy acidity and oakiness. I rate this slighty higher than its bro from Rasta Morris. It is just a tad more complex and weirder. Love it!
