Swell de Spirits T.D.L Wild Card Series #7 2003
Members who know 2003 TDL well call these column-still Trinidadians reliably good, and this one fits the mold without topping the class. The nose is caramel, vanilla and yellow fruit with a mint edge; the palate adds ripe mango sweetness and light oak. Clean, easy-drinking profile at cask strength — just don't expect the finish to hang around.

Clean, mango-and-caramel TDL, short finish Well-liked as a clean, gourmand TDL with great drinkability, though several tasters knock the short, slightly weak finish and rank other 2003 releases higher.
