Tasted this rum in the VIP area during the Rhum Fest Paris 2026. It’s a blend of three vintages, 2000, 2001 and the great Hors d'Âge from 1977. It’s limited to just 500 numbered bottles. The nose is complex, elegant, balanced, round and woody with a scent of cigar. At the palate it’s like what the nose promised together with intensity, fruitiness and spiciness like citrus and ginger. The finish is rather long.
