Wow, I thought I was the first to try it, but apparently not. But Jamaica is clearly recognizable here, the (overripe) tropical fruits banana and pineapple, but also a round of esters. The value for money is obviously outstanding here.

Rum tasted at the GRF in Berlin in 2026. A nose with esters, slightly overripe tropical fruits, and a smoky, varnish side that adds complexity. The esters are quite developed for a NY, and that's intentional, but overall it remains quite smooth. Same thing on the palate, a nice power of tamed esters, wood, tropical fruits, smoke, and roast. The finish follows the palate, only it's shorter than expected. A very well-made and balanced rum. The WK mark refers to Winston Kennedy.

Another Warehouse #1 rum in the glass. On the nose: Taste: Tropical fruits like pineapple, guava and little bit of banana blended together with esters and some overripe feel. Then you get a little bit meaty/smoky notes in there Finish: Warm. Tropical fruits, guava, esters, overripe notes. Citrus notes at the end Very nice fruity palate on this rum. With these notes, i wish that this rum had a higher abv. Price to quality is very good.
