Snagged at an auction, this is definitely an easy sipper and a great value for money. From nose to palate, the classic Barbados/FSQ profile dominates with wood, spices, roasted nuts, caramel, and dried fruits. Despite the dilution, the flavors are intense, making this rum very suitable for newcomers.

I think this could be a really good Foursquare if it had a bit more punch. Unfortunately, it's too watered down. Foursquare is quite recognizable here, caramel, burnt sugar, and coconut are definitely noticeable.

Somehow a typical Foursquare profile, but not quite typical because it’s a bit bitter with almonds and citrus. The alcohol could be better integrated.

Color gold with a copper tint. Nose impression of caramel, spice, sweetness. Quite inviting, but despite the dilution, somewhat alcoholic. Very smooth and easy to drink on the palate. Foursquare aromatics, although quite sweet, with a slight bitterness at the end. The finish is medium-long on the woody-spicy side. Not bad at all if you like bottlings with lower ABV. As already noted, definitely a good option for (cross-) beginners.
