Etwas weniger süß als seine Brüder aber immernoch recht süß. Rauchig-holzig in der Nase, fruchtig am Gaumen mit leichter Sherrynote. Der etwas sprittige Abgang stört mich ein wenig aber er ist gut trinkbar.

7,5:The rum nose is very sweet and fruity. Unlike the brand's other rums, the first moments are not marked by a few heavy exotic fruit notes. Here, we're immediately plunged into something syrupy, liquorish, like a fruit syrup. Cinnamon is clearly present, providing a pastry-like quality. The alcohol expresses itself and escapes from this thick liquid. Vanilla rounds out the finish, with melted candy sugar and candied citrus peel. Alcohol mingles with pepper and tickles the nose.Aeration confirms and reinforces the sweet, gently spicy profile. You'd expect a sweet rum, now refreshed by finer spices like cardamom, and a sweet, icy mint edge. With time, the rum settles on candied fruit and spices= Christmas cake character. 7,5:The palate reveals the hint of heaviness (very ripe, even cooked banana) that was not present in the first notes. The rum is gripping, acidic, high in alcohol but very sweet and full-bodied. The candied fruits and spices are full-bodied and consistent, catching the taste buds thanks to a coffee powder. 7,2:The finish is permeated with coffee, still with a candy-like impression that in the end is more reminiscent of cola.

Port Cask Finish, that sounds promising to me. The nose is not the typical candy bomb, but an extremely smoky palette of aromas. Huh? As if a whisky finish had taken place here, not a trace of port. This continues throughout and I am left confused and disgusted. If you want to suck a sugared piece of coal, here you go.

On the nose. Sweetish with a very slight smokiness and lots of cookie. The smoke is reminiscent of lager and less of peated whisky. Then on the palate the smoke is very strong and completely surprising. I would not have expected that with this rum. Very sweet, as usual for the company. However, there is something about the smoke. I was pleasantly surprised by this rum. For me, it's the best I've had from this company so far. Above all, the price is quite fair compared to its peers.

Nicht wirklich überzeugend. In der Nase noch angenehm Fruchtig undvolöer Vorfreude. im Mund wird bis zum Abgang vieles verspielt was eben noch versprochen. Im Abgang eher einem Single MaltWhisky im Port Fass gelagert gleichend.

Slaďoučký náběh pana lékarníka. Karamel, vanilka, liskovy orisek v nose. V chuti je to hodně hodně sladké, ale to se tady dá čekat. Je to kulaté a už v puse to lepí. Myslím, že ženy toto musí milovat.

Goldgelb Farbe. Geruch nach Gewürzen und Röstnoten. Erinnert ein wenig an Whisky. Der typische Riise Geruch ist aber auch wieder mit dabei. Der Geschmack ist süß, würzig und rauchig mit Holznoten. Läuft dick am Glas herunter.

Rum je sladší, ale né příliš. Po polknutí působí suše, ale chuť se příjemně zakulatí. Vůně velmi příjemná a jemná. Obecně jsem zastánce spíše sladších rumů s jemnou chutí a zajímavým finishem, kterým zrání po portu je. Za cenu okolo 1150,-Kč je rum v této cenové kategorii nadprůměrný, určitě stojí za zkušenost.

The description says that this is a sweet rum. I would not classify this as a rum, rather a liqueur. The description on the bottle is quite accurate in that sense: 'superior spirit drink made from premium matured rum'. I would not sell this as a rum, but as a liqueur it is okay.

Not as extremely sweet as most other rums in its range, but the nose is rather shy and the taste quite musty. Not the best port casks I suppose.

Very mild with a small edge from the 45% ABV. It's a very nice blend but should give a bit more taste with the ABV. Not enough for me.
