#7086 26.07.2026 Funky time to give this one a second go. The nose when poured is like a Guyana, but once rested for a good while the pencil shavings and polish disappear. Pretty nice experiment and a very limited bottle not meant for the general public.

Tasting at "Basecamp" on 04/08/2026 Sample from F. Kræmmer. Bottle from the home depot 😎 Nose on an adventure 👃: I sense a roasted feeling, lots of dried fruit like dates, raisins, apricot. There's vanilla, a hint of citrus and peach. Tongue on an adventure 🥃: I taste a smoky sensation, something spicy I find hard to place except for pepper! Lots of chocolate, a good warmth and overall a really well-balanced rum! The tail of the story 💫: medium long. A bit of wood, a bit of barrel character, lots of chocolate!

Tasting on 12.06.2026 Mac Y Mauritius 10 years. 64.89% Same barrel and raw product as previously released watered down as RX25931 cask strength 54.9% Rum Nation Mauritius 8 years. The two extra years of barrel aging, in X Port Mourant barrel #310, have really added fullness and complexity. Nose: light fruity sweetness, classic Guyana barrel scent, fine lacquer and tobacco aroma. Palate: roasted soft full notes, plum dark chocolate, faintly a bit of vanilla. Sweet barrel influence. Fantastically well-integrated ABV, you don't sense the 64.89% at all. The empty glass: pipe tobacco and faint Port Mourant barrel. A really good glass of rum for the price, 2 1/2 bottle kills on the conscience. Tasting (In the cave)
