Tried at RFP 2026, shortly before the bottling date. I took some notes back then and hope I'll get to try that one again to confirm what I wrote. The nose opens on vegetal notes, I got some thyme, it's grilled but quite round. Palate follows on the vegetal notes, It's balanced between sweet and dry notes. Overall a pleasant rum, price quality ratio is correct.

A Montebello from Swell at a somewhat fair price. On the nose, a bit of thyme dominates, which is new territory for me. I didn't find this bottling 100% convincing neat, but still good. From my perspective, it would be more suitable as a mixer.

A very young and therefore probably also sharp-edged Montebello. The classic aroma profile can be recognized, but it is quite superficial and not particularly complex, so you can only catch a hint of fruit notes on the palate.
