Tasting date 18.09.2026 gift from Mr. D Jungberg. RX26439 Warehouse WPE 52% 2022. The nose is pleasant with glue and nail polish. Dried and tropical fruits. Spices and toasted wood. Mouth: Heavy tropical fruits and citrus notes. Pleasant balance with varnish and glue. Residual taste: Spices with dominating white pepper. Light toasted wood and dried fruits. Heavy tropical fruit notes. Light roasted nuts and nutmeg. At the end nice balanced spices and leather. Relatively short residual taste due to irrigation. The glass: Water and light sour tobacco. Tasting “In the cave”

#7297 14.09.2026 Back from visiting our office in Copenhagen and today's bike training done as well. Listening to some nice tracks by Protonica, Captain Hook, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and David Guetta while running some nice samples from Warehouse #1. Also e very nice bottling with a good price tag in my mind. Medium intense profile with overripe fruits, ester, flue, polish, honey, roasted wood, tannins, chocolate, peppery and dry palate.

Edit: Photo added On the nose: Overripe, fermented notes. Mild esters. Nail polish notes. Light citrus notes and light papaya notes in the background. Taste: Esters, light glue notes. Light banana note is the main note. Light citrus notes. After sitting in the glass you get more woody and spicy notes to the palate. Finish: Esters, light woody notes, citrus notes. Toasted. Dry. Short-medium finish. Lacks of intensity due the low abv and doesnt really have complexity. Maybe for beginners and for cocktails.

A tasting of 5 Warehouse #1 Legendary Marks with 52% ABV and 4 years of continental barrel aging. Here is the Worthy Park with a nominally medium ester content compared to the other high ester rums in this comparison. The color, like all the rums in this comparison, is a clear amber. On the nose, there is more woody spice compared to the solvent notes. The intensity is rather restrained, but that's all relative to the other rums in this series. On the palate, more wood again, along with solvent/glue and light fruit paired with only a slight solvent sweetness. The finish is medium-long and similar. It has its own distinct character and ranks in the middle in this comparison. The more woody-spicy profile will certainly have its fans.
