#7298 14.09.2026 Back from visiting our office in Copenhagen and today's bike training done as well. Listening to some nice tracks by Protonica, Captain Hook, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and David Guetta while running some nice samples from Warehouse #1. A very nice DOK in my mind and it also has a nive price tag. Intense profile with overripe fruits, ester, polish, glue, spice, marzipan, roasted wood, tannins, olive, herbs, chocolate.

Tasting date 18.09.2026 gift from Mr. D Jungberg. RX26440 Warehouse DOK 52% 2022. The nose is light with light tropical notes like pineapple, banana and mango. Balanced and tamed DOK, pleasant varnish and chemical notes. Mouth: overripe tropical fruits as pineapple, banana and mango. Light bitter fruitiness and a touch of smoke. Residual taste is with sweet fruits mostly pineapple, and smoke and spices. The end is relatively short with sweet pineapple. Less irrigation would retain more complexity. The glass: Pineapple and tobacco. Tasting “In the cave”

A tasting of 5 Warehouse #1 Legendary Marks with 52% and 4 years of continental cask aging. Here is the Hampden DOK. The color, like all the rums in this tasting, is a clear amber. This rum, with the nominally highest ester content, shows that right away in the nose. Glue, sweet solvent esters, cookies, marzipan, overripe fruits. Everything you’d expect from a DOK. Easy to drink thanks to the reduction, without being overwhelming. On the palate, powerful aromas. Everything that was already in the nose with that delicious sweet cookie/marzipan character. The finish is long on the flavors that consistently carry from the nose through to the finish. For me, it shares the top spot with the NY, though I give a point more here for the lovely fullness after a few minutes in the glass.
