#7299 14.09.2026 Back from visiting our office in Copenhagen and today's bike training done as well. Listening to some nice tracks by Protonica, Captain Hook, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and David Guetta while running some nice samples from Warehouse #1. Yet another nice bottling with a good price tag. Also and intense profile with overripe fruits, ester, olive, salt, glue, medicinal, spice, wood, natural sweetness, tannins and a dry palate.

Tasting date 18.09.2026 gift from Mr. D Jungberg. RX26441 Warehouse 52% TECA 2022. Nose: Balanced sweet tropical fruits, heavy ester notes. “Sweet varnish” dried fruits. Nutty white light smoke and glue. Mouth: Pleasant nutty sweetness, glue and light smoke. Tamed esters, dried fruits and spices. Sweet dark stone fruits. Residual taste is medium long. Depth and complexity are unfortunately gone due to irrigation. Residual taste out with a light sweetness. The glass: Water and light sour tobacco. Tasting “In the cave” Tasting “In the cave”

On the nose: Overripe pineapples, light glue and fermented. I am not sure if the sweet note is marzipan or light caramel or something between. Approachable. Taste: Naturally sweet flavour. Light fermented pineapples. Fruity. Warm. Light caramel or marzipan? Then you get light smoky/bbq notes in the background and they work quite well with the pineapple notes. Finish: Fermented notes. Overripe tropical fruits with pineapple note being the dominant one. Slightly acidic finish. Medium finish. Yeah, another good rum from Warehouse #1 with good price to quality ratio. Very approachable for those new to Jamaican rums.

Never thought I’d describe a Teca as an all-night sipper, but here we are. The raw, funky, unmistakably Teca character is still fully present, just tamed enough at 52% ABV to make it dangerously easy to drink. Still bold, still dirty, still very much Teca — just without blowing your palate apart after two glasses. For Teca lovers, this is a real treat.

A tasting of 5 Warehouse #1 Legendary Marks with 52% ABV and 4 years of continental barrel aging. Here is a Long Pond with the TECA mark. The mark with the highest ester content after the DOK in comparison. The color is clear amber. On the nose, immediately fruit esters, glue, marzipan. It actually resembles the Hampden DOK. On the palate, powerful and full of aroma. The nose impression continues, underlined with delicious sweetness. Here too, the dilution leads to good drinkability and results in a long finish. Generally, the typical high ester aroma profile. Here with a bit more spice compared to the NY and the DOK. I like it. In general, for all the high ester representatives here, some aeration has expanded the aroma profile and is recommended.
